Northern Pacific and Chicago, Burlington and Quincy railroads from Sheridan, WY to Laurel, MT in 1967. Double decked layout is currently operating as a single lower deck only, featuring the towns of Billings and Laurel, MT. Housed in an historic 1895 Texas and Pacific section house, the previous layout owner also used it for his model railroad. Operations are based around two yards, 16 miles apart. Laurel is a large classification yard with connections to East and West NP mainline, GN to Great Falls, MT and the CB&Q to Lincoln and Denver. Most jobs are switching jobs except Laurel Yard jobs, transfer jobs and active staging manager. The building has 4 steps and is not wheel chair accessible.
