The layout covers the Great Northern Cascade Division in the fall of 1955. The layout is near completion. It includes over 160 feet of catenary for heavy electrics, 5,000 hand made trees and most of the structures are scratch built from blue prints and photos. The layout supports very realistic time table and train order operations with a dispatcher and agent/operator. Waybills are used for freight car forwarding. The layout has been featured in Model Railroader and other publications.
